![]() ![]() If this is the case, is there a better approach to do this automatically? Is this because the TEAMS data has not been cleared from the second users APPDATA? The second user logs in to the PC, and Teams is still 32bit. Now, there is another user on the same PC, who has been using Teams on 32bit before. When logged in, Teams did startup, as 64bit. Well, i cleared out all the TEAMS folders from one users APPDATA folder. So it appears, if the TEAMS is not cleared from the APPDATA folder, the update to 64bit wont work. Teams get installed to users APPDATA folder. And O365 has now been reinstalled as 64bit version. OK, i will use the trusty Msiexec /x to uninstall Teams. I was hoping that while uinstall all components of 32bit office using the XML config, Teams will be uninstalled as well, but this is not to be the case. However, this is proving to be a bit trivial.įirstly, i cannot use the XML config to uninstall the TEAMS that was installed using the MSI installer. So to be clean, i thought i would switch Teams to 64bit as well. Now, some users are wanting to switch to 64bit office. ![]() Teams machine wide installer has been installed on all the workstations, using MSI installer. ![]()
